Pingtung’s “Valley Glaze Bridge” Overcrowded 屏東山川琉璃吊橋遊客爆滿 Charlie and Hannah are thinking about places to go for the weekend. 查理和漢娜在想週末要去哪裡。 Charlie: Have you been to Pingtung’s “Valley Glaze Bridge”? 查理：你有去過屏東的「山川琉璃吊橋」嗎？ Hannah: No. What is it? 漢娜：沒有。那是什麼？ Charlie: It’s a suspension bridge over a valley decorated with glaze. It’s very pretty! 查理：它是一座橫越山谷、用琉璃裝飾的吊橋。很漂亮！ Hannah: How come I’ve never heard of it before? 漢娜：我怎麼之前都沒聽說過？ Charlie: It has only started operating recently, and in fact there have already been a few incidents. 查理：它最近才開始營運，而且其實那邊已經發生過幾起意外了呢。 Hannah: Oh no! What happened? 漢娜：噢不！怎麼了？ Charlie: People underestimated how hard the walk across the bridge would be. Many elders could not finish the journey and had to turn back halfway across. 查理：大家太小看走過吊橋會有多困難。許多老人家無法走完，必須半路折返。 Hannah: That must have caused a big jam. 漢娜：那樣一定會造成動線阻塞。 Charlie: A diabetic woman also passed out on the bridge. 查理：還有一名患有糖尿病的女性在橋上昏倒了。 Hannah: I’m all for adventure, but passing out doesn’t sound like a lot of fun. 漢娜：我是很支持大家探險，但是昏倒聽起來一點也不好玩。 |
