Top 10 Cities for Digital Nomads 最適合科技遊牧民族的十大城市 Joshua and Jenny are friends. They haven’t seen each other for a while. 約書亞跟珍妮是朋友，他們有陣子沒見了。 Joshua: Hey Jenny, I heard you got a new job? 約書亞：嘿，珍妮，聽說妳換新工作了？ Jenny: Yup. A couple of months ago. 珍妮：是啊，有幾個月了。 Joshua: How’s your new job? Do you like it? 約書亞：妳的新工作如何？還喜歡嗎？ Jenny: Well, I like it, even though the workload is extremely heavy. 珍妮：嗯，我是喜歡，雖然工作量超大。 Joshua: I’m sorry to hear that. But what made you want a busy job like that? The pay? 約書亞：真是辛苦妳了。不過，是什麼原因讓妳想做一份那麼忙碌的工作啊？薪水？ Jenny: The pay is acceptable. But to me, the upside of the job is that I can work from home. 珍妮：薪水是還好，不過對我而言，這份工作的優點是我可以在家工作。 Joshua: Wow, that sounds appealing. 約書亞：哇，那聽起來很吸引人耶。 Jenny: Well, I don’t need to clock in and clock out, but I need to work overtime and on weekends to get my job done. 珍妮：嗯，我上下班是不用打卡，但我平日跟週末都得加班才能把事情做完。 Joshua: I see. It’s really not as easy as we thought to be a clock-less worker. 約書亞：了解。上下班不用打卡真的沒有我們以為的那麼輕鬆呢。 Jenny: It’s definitely not easy as it seems. 珍妮：絕對比看起來的還要辛苦。 Joshua: Hey, I’m curious. Do you always stay at home to do your work? Or do you sometimes bring your laptop and work at a coffee shop? 約書亞：嘿，我很好奇，妳都會待在家裡工作嗎？或是妳會不會有時候帶著筆電到咖啡廳工作？ Jenny: I usually stay at home, but some of my other co-workers do their work in various places. 珍妮：我通常都待在家裡，但我有些同事會在不同地點工作。 Joshua: I see. Aww, I just remembered that I read an article about top 10 cities for digital nomads like you. 約書亞：明白。喔，我想起來我讀到一篇文章，是關於最適合像妳一樣的科技遊牧民族的十大城市。 Jenny: Oh? That sounds interesting. What are those 10 cities? 珍妮：哦？聽起來很有趣耶，是哪十個城市？ Joshua: Chiang Mai and Bangkok were the number one and number two for their low costs of living, stable Wi-Fi, and friendly people. 約書亞：清邁跟曼谷因為低廉的生活費用、穩定的無線網路及友善的人民而名列一二。 Jenny: Stable Wi-Fi is really important for digital nomads. 珍妮：穩定的無線網路對於科技遊牧民族真的很重要。 Joshua: I bet. The third city is London, and then Berlin, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Prague, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, and the tenth city is Tokyo. 約書亞：我相信。第三名的城市是倫敦，接著是柏林、舊金山、阿姆斯特丹、布拉格、香港、胡志明市，然後第十名是東京。 Jenny: That’s very cool.
