A Dutch Town Installed Traffic Lights on the Ground 荷蘭小鎮設置地面紅綠燈 Tim and Anna are on their way home. 提姆跟安娜在回家路上。 Tim: Hey, stop staring at your phone. We are crossing the road. 提姆：嘿，別再盯著手機了，我們在過馬路耶。 Anna: Oh, sorry. I was checking my email. 安娜：喔，抱歉。我是在收電子郵件。 Tim: I read an article the other day. It said that a Dutch town put traffic lights on the ground. 提姆：我前幾天讀到一篇文章，上面說有個荷蘭小鎮在地上設紅綠燈。 Anna: Why? 安娜：為什麼啊？ Tim: That way, people can’t miss them even if their eyes are cast down toward their smartphones. 提姆：那樣的話，即便大家狂看手機也不會錯過紅綠燈。 Anna: I don’t think it’s a good idea. People will think it’s okay to use their phone while walking on the pavement. 安娜：我覺得這不是個好點子耶，這樣大家會覺得，走在人行道的時候一直用手機沒關係。 Tim: I know, but it’s not easy to reverse the trend. People are zombie-like nowadays. 提姆：我知道，但要反轉潮流不容易，現在大家都像喪屍一樣。 Anna: Yeah, I think I need to break this bad habit, too. 安娜：是啊，我想我也需要改掉這個壞習慣。 Tim: I am glad to hear that. 提姆：我很開心聽到你這樣說。 |
